Luke Combs welcomes fans to his new Nashville dream bar, Category 10

Luke Combs recently celebrated the opening of his dream venue, Category 10, in Nashville with a private concert for select fans, known as The Bootleggers. This event, taking place on a Friday evening, marked an unofficial kickoff ahead of the bar’s public debut. The singer delivered a live performance featuring his well-loved tracks like “Hurricane,” “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma,” and “Fast Car.” Combs expressed that owning a bar in Nashville is a realization of one of his dreams.

During the event, Combs paused to connect with the audience, acknowledging the dedication of those who had been waiting for hours. He expressed deep gratitude to his fans, emphasizing how their support has been crucial to his journey in the music world. He reflected on the whirlwind of his career, noting how he’s achieved things he never expected, and expressed appreciation for the opportunities he’s received. Combs shared that music is his passion, and he is thankful for the fans who have supported him along the way.

Category 10, situated in the former Wildhorse Saloon location, officially opened its doors to the public the following Saturday. This expansive four-story venue spans 67,000 square feet and includes six bars, three stages, a massive retail area, and a rooftop space that is slated to open in early 2025. Each of the five distinct areas within the venue reflects aspects that Combs is passionate about.

The Honky-Tonk is a two-story area at the front of the venue, featuring two bars, a retail shop, and a main stage for live performances. Hurricane Hall boasts the largest dance floor and stage in downtown Nashville, offering a space for line dancing and hosting concerts for up to 1,500 people. This area includes the Beer Never Broke My Heart bar and the Neon Dream bar.

The Still is a second-floor lounge dedicated to bourbon enthusiasts, inspired by Combs’ songwriting. It’s tailored for his Bootleggers Fan Club and offers an intimate atmosphere for music lovers. The 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar, located on the third floor, combines lounge and table seating with large screens for viewing a variety of sports events. A sports ticker wraps around the room, providing real-time updates.

The Eye is a 7,000-square-foot rooftop deck set to open in early 2025, promising breathtaking views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium. A standout feature of Category 10 is “The Light Show,” a custom-designed lighting display that debuted during Combs’ performance, enhancing the experience with synchronized lights that move with the music. This light show will also feature routines from the new dance team and will play during select weekend times.

Located at 120 2nd Ave. North in Nashville, Category 10 is set to become a new hotspot in the city, merging Combs’ musical influence with unique entertainment offerings.
