HILLIARD, Ohio (AP) — K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is set to open a new 10,000-square-foot facility at 3799 Park Mill Run Dr. in Hilliard later this fall, a company spokesperson announced. The facility, owned by Ohio residents Bob and Katie Appleby, will offer a “resort-style experience” for dog boarding and daycare, as described on the company’s website.
Amenities at the pet hotel include high-definition TVs showing Dog TV or Animal Planet, premium dog beds, and boarding suites. K9 Resorts also features outdoor play yards and indoor playrooms for pets. The company currently operates 45 locations nationwide.
This Hilliard location will be the only K9 Resorts facility in Ohio. The company’s North Olmsted center recently closed, and a reopening date has not been announced, according to the website.
