Nicki Minaj’s album “Pink Friday 2,” released the previous year, became the highest-selling project by a female rapper in 2024. The 22-song collection reached No. 30 on Billboard’s 200 Albums year-end chart, driven by pure sales and on-demand streaming activity. Tracks like “Barbie Dangerous” and “FTCU”—the latter featuring a mega remix with Chris Brown, Travis Scott, and Sexyy Red—helped “Pink Friday 2” surpass 1 million album-equivalent units by January, according to REVOLT. Minaj launched her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” in March, performing in major cities such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville, and Toronto, and also toured internationally. She returned for a second North American leg in September. On Saturday, December 14, Minaj celebrated her success with a collage of videos, screenshots, and throwback photos, expressing gratitude to her supporters and contributors.
