The Metal Hall of Fame has revealed its 2025 inductees for the 9th Annual Gala Induction Ceremony. This year, the honorees include Poison drummer Rikki Rockett and the band Dangerous Toys. Rockett, a founding member of Poison since 1983, helped the band achieve a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA with “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in December 1988. Poison’s first three studio albums—Look What The Cat Dragged In (1986), Open Up and Say… Ahh! (1988), and Flesh & Blood (1990)—all achieved multi-platinum sales. Their most recent studio album, Poison’d, was released in 2007 and featured cover songs. The band participated in the successful Stadium Tour alongside Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts during the summer of 2022. Dangerous Toys, founded in 1987, have released four studio albums: Dangerous Toys (1989), Hellacious Acres (1991), Pissed (1994), and The R*tist 4*merly Known as Dangerous Toys (1995). Their debut album was certified gold by the RIAA five years after its release.
