Recently, Riley Green has been surrounded by a flurry of rumors regarding his romantic life, a common occurrence for those in the public eye. With numerous speculations circulating online, fans were eager to uncover if Green had a significant other. Finally, Green has addressed these rumors, putting them to rest.
For the past year, fans have been playing detective, seeking clues about Green’s love life, including potential links to female country artists. Initially, fans speculated about Green’s relationship with his “You Look Like You Love Me” duet partner, Ella Langley. However, Green clarified that their relationship is purely platonic.
More recently, attention shifted to Megan Moroney, who has fueled fan theories with subtle hints on social media. Speculation about her and Green began when observant fans noted their simultaneous presence in Saint-Jean, St. Barthélemy. Further intrigue arose when Moroney posted a photo wearing a cowboy hat similar to one Green had worn in a separate post.
Despite the ongoing buzz, Moroney’s recent interview with Sirius XM in January makes it clear she isn’t seeking a relationship at the moment. She mentioned feeling overwhelmed with her schedule and joked that perhaps by 2026, she might consider dating.
This week, Green appeared on the debut episode of the ‘In The Blind’ podcast with hosts Eric Gunderson and Cloyd Rivers, where he addressed his relationship status. In a segment called “Hard Ducking Questions,” Rivers asked Green about his relationship status, to which Green promptly replied that he is single.
When pressed further by Gunderson about “how single” he is, Green reiterated that he is “pretty damn” single.
Though Green isn’t pursuing romance right now, he’s keeping busy with his career and exploring new ventures like acting. Apart from his music video appearances, Green has gained some experience in front of the camera by competing on the CMT reality show, Redneck Island. This led to discussions about potential future acting opportunities for Green.
Green shared that he recently auditioned for roles in Los Angeles, suggesting he might delve further into acting, inspired by the success of other country artists like Lainey Wilson with Yellowstone.
He expressed interest in this new challenge, noting how country music is increasingly represented in popular shows and how artists are being cast for roles and cameos.
In addition, Green has been busy writing new material in anticipation of his upcoming headline tour. The Damn Country Music Tour is set to begin on March 27, with several Canadian stops before returning to the U.S. on May 1 in Athens, Georgia. The tour will continue through August.
