Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are thrilled as they anticipate the arrival of their third child. This joyful news was shared by the country singer during a conversation with iHeartCountry earlier this week. Hunt mentioned that he has had to modify his plans for fall hunting because of Hannah’s pregnancy.
“During the busy touring season, I started planning several bird hunting trips for the fall. But about two months ago, we discovered we’re expecting another child. With Hannah feeling quite unwell and managing two young kids, I’ve had to rethink my schedule. Yet, I’ll still manage to squeeze in a few shorter trips,” the 39-year-old artist disclosed.
With enthusiasm, Hunt expressed his deep affection for fatherhood, feeling incredibly fortunate about their impending addition. Their expanding family currently includes their daughter, Lucy Louise, who is two and a half, and their son, Lowry Lee, who is just over a year old.
In another discussion with Audacy’s Katie & Company, Hunt expressed his excitement, saying he’s eagerly looking forward to the new chapter. He also revealed that Hannah’s due date is in May and mentioned that they’ve begun discussing the new baby with their daughter, although he suspects she doesn’t fully grasp the situation yet. Hunt humorously recounted their interactions, noting that when they mention the baby, their daughter amusingly insists that she, too, has one on the way.
Looking ahead, the “23” singer intends to reduce his touring schedule in a few years to focus more on family life. He expressed his desire to perform while his children are still young enough to accompany him and while there’s still interest from fans, highlighting the importance of not taking this support for granted.
Hunt has become more open about his personal life, recently showcasing his family in the music video for “Country House.” This video offers a heartfelt glimpse into his life, featuring candid scenes of Sam, Hannah, and their children, as well as appearances by his extended family.
