The band’s vocalist Connie Sgarbossa took to X to express that she may be leaving the metalcore band soon due to “a lack of urgency” around concerns she has raised.
She wrote:
“Probably gonna be leaving SYSC due to a lack of urgency on issues that I have been bringing up for a while now. It was fun while it lasted.”

This possible departure comes in the wake of SeeYouSpaceCowboy being announced as support for Dance Gavin Dance’s “Return Of The Robot Tour”, a tour which many SYSC fans have criticized due to former Dance Gavin Dance’s vocalist Tilian Pearson’s history of sexual misconduct.
Fans are accusing SeeYouSpaceCowboy of hypocristy after the band ejected Roman Candle from a tour earlier in the year due to allegations of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Connie Sgarbossa has also addressed her feelings on the situation via X, writing:
“Believe me, there is no part of me as an individual that backs this either”
