GLASTONBURY, England (AP) — Glastonbury has announced the initial lineup for its 2025 festival, featuring headliners The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, and Neil Young. The full lineup is listed below.
The 1975 will headline the Pyramid Stage for the first time on Friday, June 26. Olivia Rodrigo will close the festival on Sunday, June 29. Neil Young, accompanied by his band Chrome Hearts, will return to Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, for the second time, having last headlined in 2009.
Other acts set to perform over the weekend on The Other Stage, June 25-29, include Loyle Carner, The Prodigy, and Charli XCX.
Additional artists confirmed for the festival include Doechii, Alanis Morissette, Tate McRae, Father John Misty, Ezra Collective, Lola Young, RAYE, Noah Kahan, Biffy Clyro, Gracie Abrams, and Wolf Alice.
Rod Stewart is scheduled to perform in the legends slot on Sunday, June 29. Stewart, who previously headlined in 2002, announced his participation last November.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 went on sale in November and sold out in less than an hour, following the introduction of a new online queuing system. A resale is expected in early April for unpaid or unwanted tickets.
The 1975 have performed at Glastonbury twice before, including a 2014 afternoon slot on the Pyramid Stage and a performance on The Other Stage in 2016. Their headlining stint comes amid rumors of new music, with frontman Matty Healy hinting at a forthcoming album.
Rodrigo’s headlining appearance aligns with her U.K. tour schedule, which includes a show at BST Hyde Park in London and two rescheduled Manchester concerts. She made her Glastonbury debut in 2022, performing with Lily Allen.
Neil Young initially announced in January that he would withdraw from the festival, describing it as a “corporate turn-off.” He later reversed his decision, stating on his website that an error in information had led to his initial withdrawal. “Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing,” he wrote.
In 2024, Glastonbury was headlined by Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay, with Coldplay marking their fifth time as headliners.
