Renowned Christian music artist Chris Tomlin is stepping into the world of filmmaking as the Executive Producer of The Last Supper, an upcoming film from Pinnacle Peak Pictures.
For over two decades, Chris Tomlin has been a defining voice in contemporary Christian music, touching millions with worship anthems like “How Great Is Our God,” “Good Good Father,” and “Holy Forever.” Now, he takes on a new role in the entertainment industry, helping to shape a film that reimagines one of the most profound moments in Biblical history.
Tomlin’s involvement with The Last Supper marks his first venture into theatrical filmmaking, an opportunity he sees as an extension of his ministry. As an Executive Producer, he aims to bring the same level of authenticity and heart to the big screen that has made his music a cornerstone of Christian worship.
“When I was approached about contributing to this film, I immediately felt God calling me to be part of it,” Tomlin shared. “This story represents the foundation of our faith—the ultimate act of love and sacrifice. I pray this film moves people in the same way worship does, stirring their hearts toward Jesus.”
Beyond his role as Executive Producer, Tomlin has also recorded an original song for the film, “No Greater Love,” which will play during the film’s final scene and closing credits. Co-written with Tyler Hubbard, Corey Crowder, and Matt Jenkins, the song echoes the powerful message of John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
The Last Supper offers a unique and intimate portrayal of Jesus Christ’s final hours, as seen through the eyes of those closest to Him. The film seeks to go beyond a simple retelling, shedding new light on the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the profound impact it had on the world.
For Tomlin, The Last Supper is more than a film—it’s a ministry opportunity. He hopes that audiences will not only witness the story of Christ’s final meal with His disciples but also experience the depth of His love in a way that leaves a lasting impact.
“I’ve always believed that worship is more about seeing than just singing,” Tomlin said. “Years ago, I stood in Israel, in the very places where Jesus walked, and it changed me. Watching The Last Supper brought me back to that moment. My prayer is that this film does the same for everyone who sees it.”
As The Last Supper prepares for release, excitement is building around the film’s ability to bring faith to life in a new and compelling way. With Chris Tomlin at the helm as Executive Producer, audiences can expect a deeply moving cinematic experience that speaks to the heart of Christianity—love, sacrifice, and the promise of redemption.
