The Pretty Wild release new track “Button Eyes”

The Pretty Wild have released an explosive new track!

The metalcore duo, made up of sisters Julia and Jyl Wylde, released their latest song, “Button Eyes” via their new label Sumerian Records.

Julia Wylde commented on the bands new song, stating:

“This is for anyone who’s ever felt objectified, used or controlled. It’s about the moment ou conciously break free from manipulation and you sever ties with that toxicity for good. We used dolls as a vessel for this theme, mostly as a way to blend the playful melodies and imagery in a way that lightens a heavy conversation topic.”

Jyl Wylde also made a statement about “Button Eyes”, commenting:

“‘Button Eyes’ explores the theme of disillusionment with life and the process of reclaiming personal power. The song cheekily pokes at the painful process of breaking free from the misleading beliefs that held us back and stepping into our truth. Essentially empowering ourselves by rejecting disempowering narratives that were imposed upon us. Personally, I love this one because it comes across as fun, poppy, and superficial, but the irony in it, is that it’s the juxtaposition of all that at is core.”

The Pretty Wild have recently collaborated with Kittie and Diamante on a cover of Metallica’s “The Unforgiven” for the film “Queen of the Ring”, which came out Friday, March 7th.
