Trace Adkins Unveils Festive Fun with Playful Holiday Hit Naughty List

Trace Adkins is stirring up some festive fun and romance with his latest holiday track, “Naughty List.” This playful Christmas song, penned by Adkins along with Monty Criswell and Derek George, portrays a flirtatious scenario where the singer jests about placing someone on the “naughty list” following some “mistletoe misbehavin"” together.

Adkins’ deep, resonant voice is accompanied by the sound of jingle bells, woodwinds, and steel guitar, crafting a humorous and festive tune. The music video, directed by Mike Stryker and co-produced by Greg Baker, Jason Fridenstine, and Andrew Rozario, features Santa in a comedic exchange with Adkins just before the festivities begin. As a fan of Adkins’ storied career, Santa indulges the MULTI-PLATINUM artist and actor with a glimpse into life as Santa, complete with a few gifts aimed at encouraging good behavior. However, Adkins has his own ideas for holiday amusement.

The video also includes appearances by Victoria Pratt, Adkins’ “lady in red,” and their adorable pet, Gary. In the upcoming year, Adkins is set to resume his headlining tour, showcasing tracks from his 2021 album, “The Way I Wanna Go,” live on stage. Soon after, Adkins will join forces with longtime friend Blake Shelton, starting on February 27 in Lexington, KY. The tour will also feature performances by Craig Morgan, Deana Carter, and Emily Ann Roberts on select dates. For more details on Trace Adkins’ tour schedule, visit the official website.
