Travis Kelce Dances with Taylor Swift’s Mom Amid Concert Drama

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Travis Kelce appeared to take Taylor Swift’s lyrics, “I wanna find you in the crowd just to hide from you,” quite literally during her Eras Tour stop in Indianapolis on Saturday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted in the VIP section of Lucas Oil Stadium, alongside Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift. In a fan-captured TikTok, Kelce is seen dancing with his girlfriend’s mom to the Tortured Poets Department song “So High School,” prompting an audible “Oh my god!” from the fan filming.

Later in the show, Swift delighted the crowd by reprising a special ad-libbed lyric during her performance of “Karma” from her album Midnights. Once again, she sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” a line she’s used multiple times on her tour.

Kelce previously discussed his reaction to this lyric swap on his podcast New Heights in November, saying, “Yeah, no, I had no clue [she would do that]. Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me.”

Kelce’s sweet moment with Swift’s mother followed a more intense episode involving his brother, Jason Kelce, who co-hosts New Heights. Earlier on Saturday, Jason Kelce confronted a heckler who directed a homophobic slur at Travis. In now-viral footage, Jason is seen approaching the bystander, grabbing their phone, throwing it to the ground, and repeating the slur back at them.
