LET BATTLE COMMENCE!
WARWOLF, the band which emerged from the Cologne formation WOLFEN, is back for the attack with album #3. “The Final Battle“ offers exactly what a fan would expect from the band and even more. “Maiden-esque” influences with a slight Teutonic Metal touch. But this time rawer, more honest – a no bullshit version with a raw live sound. No auto-tune, no samples, no keyboards! The masterpiece is produced, mixed and mastered once again by GRAVE DIGGER singer Chris Boltendahl in the Graveyard Studio in Cologne.
If you listen through the WARWOLF records chronologically, the progression from record to record is obvious. And that’s not really surprising, because the band has grown closer together, matured over time like fine wine and gained more and more of its own identity. Singer Andreas von Lipinski is increasingly freeing himself from the shadow of his powerful role models and is becoming more and more of a charismatic and independent WARWOLF screamer.
All songs have a continuous story so “The Final Battle“ can be called a concept album, though each song can also stand on its own. You can really look forward to the tour with GRAVE DIGGER and VICTORY at the beginning of 2025, where you can have your ears blown with new WARWOLF highlights and their old hits!
