Who Made Chappell Roan’s 2024 Spotify Wrapped?

Chappell Roan appeared on countless Spotify Wrapped roundups in 2024, but who made it onto hers?

On Wednesday (Dec. 4), the 26-year-old pop star shared her top five most-listened-to artists on Instagram, alongside a throwback photo of herself posing next to a car covered in camo-print decals. “This pic kind of insane,” she wrote.

“PS,” she added, “My Spotify Wrapped most listened-to artists were 1. Ariana [Grande] 2. Charli [XCX] 3. Heart 4. Justice 5. Kacey Musgraves.”

Roan also revealed her top song of the year, writing, “Top song was ‘Barracuda,’ ofc,” referencing Heart’s 1977 hit.

The Missouri native’s post coincided with the release of Spotify’s annual Wrapped feature, which highlights users’ most-streamed songs and artists. Spotify also announced the year’s global and U.S. streaming trends. Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish were the platform’s most-streamed artists globally. Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso topped the list of most-streamed songs worldwide, followed by Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things, Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather, FloyyMenor and Cris Mj’s Gata Only, and Teddy Swims’ Lose Control.

In the U.S., Roan secured the sixth spot with her hit single Good Luck, Babe!—a track that surpassed one billion streams just days before Wrapped launched. The year’s top five U.S. songs included Carpenter’s Espresso, Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy), Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s I Had Some Help, and Tommy Richman’s Million Dollar Baby.

Roan’s debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, ranked as the fifth-most streamed album in the U.S., behind Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time, Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, and Noah Kahan’s Stick Season.

A self-proclaimed “Arianator,” Roan has previously expressed her admiration for Grande, sharing her excitement to see Wicked during an August livestream. In her Rolling Stone cover story this September, she also credited Charli XCX and other female artists, including Katy Perry, Lorde, Muna, Miley Cyrus, and Lady Gaga, for offering support during challenging moments in her career.
